The DIO-1616LX-USB is designed for reliable industrial I/O applications. Opto-coupler isolation (1000Vrms) provides excellent noise immunity. The digital filter prevents false recognition from noise or chattering. Output circuits include zener diode surge protection and overcurrent protection.
High-density I/O — 16 opto-isolated inputs and 16 opto-isolated outputs in a compact unit.
Interrupt capability — all 16 input signals can be used as interrupt request signals with edge selection.
Digital filter — prevents false recognition of input signals from noise or chattering (software configurable).
Output protection — zener diode surge voltage protection and overcurrent protection (8-channel units).
USB hub function — cascade multiple units from a single USB port (up to 4 units).
Migration friendly — connector compatible with PIO-16/16L(PCI)H and DIO-1616L-PE boards.
