DIO-128SLX-USB

128 bi-directional opto-isolated I/O pins with common input/output functionality — each pin can be used as input or output without rewiring. 24VDC, 200 µs response, interrupt on 16 inputs, digital filter, overcurrent protection, and USB hub function. Windows/Linux drivers.

The DIO-128SLX-USB provides 128 opto-coupler isolated I/O pins where each pin can function as either an input or output without changing wiring. Common terminals per 16 channels allow different external power supplies. Inputs are compatible with current sink outputs; outputs are open-collector (current sink type). 24VDC external power is required.

Built-in USB hub allows up to 4 units to be connected to a single USB port. Windows and Linux drivers (API-DIO) provide digital I/O control with sample programs for C#, Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++, Python, and gcc. A diagnostic program is included.

Uses two 100-pin 0.8mm pitch connectors (CNA and CNB). I/O pins are organized in 16-channel groups with dedicated positive and negative commons. Multiple negative common pins are provided to handle total current requirements.

• I/O pins – I/O-00 to I/O-F7 (128 signals), organized in 8 groups of 16 channels.
• Positive commons – P-0/1, P-2/3, P-4/5, P-6/7, P-8/9, P-A/B, P-C/D, P-E/F.
• Negative commons – N-0/1, N-2/3, N-4/5, N-6/7, N-8/9, N-A/B, N-C/D, N-E/F (6 pins each for current capacity).
• Interrupt signals – I/O-00 to I/O-17 can be used as interrupt sources.
