High-Precision Analog I/O
with Massive Buffer Memory

The AD16-16(PCI)EV provides 16 channels of analog input (selectable single-ended or differential), 1 analog output, 4 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs, and a 32-bit counter. The 16M data buffer memory (FIFO or RING) allows background sampling independent of PC processing power, with flexible trigger control including software, conversion data compare, and external TTL signals.

Upward compatible with analog E series — The AD16-16(PCI)EV is partially improved from the past analog E series and can be used in the same way, with enhanced buffer memory (16M vs 256K) and universal PCI key support.

& Flexible Configuration

Designed for demanding measurement and control applications, the AD16-16(PCI)EV includes powerful signal conditioning and flexible configuration options.

  • Single-ended or differential input — Jumper-selectable; channel order can be preset in dedicated register.
  • 16M data buffer memory — FIFO or RING mode supports background sampling with software/data compare/external triggers.
  • Analog output — 1 channel, 16-bit, ±10V or 0-10V jumper selectable, ±5mA output current ability.
  • Digital I/O and counter — 4 TTL-level inputs (with interrupt/counter/gate functions), 4 TTL-level outputs (counter output selectable).
  • Optional expansion — Supports buffer amplifier (ATBA-16E), simultaneous sampling (ATSS-16/ATSS-16A), low pass filter, and cables.
  • Universal PCI key — Fits both 5V and 3.3V PCI slots (requires +5V power).
