Versatile Analog Input
with Bus Isolation

The AI-1216I2-PCI provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels with 12-bit resolution and 20µsec conversion speed. Input ranges include bipolar/unipolar voltage ranges (up to ±125V) and 4-20mA current input. The board features bus isolation via optocoupler and digital isolator for excellent noise immunity.

Designed for flexible data acquisition, the AI-1216I2-PCI includes powerful sampling control functions and on-board buffer memory.

  • 256K-word buffer memory — FIFO or ring buffer allows background sampling independent of PC processing power.
  • Assorted sampling control — Start/stop via software, analog signal strength (conversion data compare), or external digital trigger.
  • Flexible clock source — Internal on-board clock generator or external sampling clock input.
  • Opto-isolated digital I/O — 4 inputs (current sinking output support) and 4 outputs (open-collector, sink type) with 1msec response.
  • Wide input range support — Voltage ranges up to ±125V and 4-20mA current input (jumper and software selectable).
