The DIO-6464L-PE delivers 200µsec response, digital filtering, interrupt capability on 16 inputs, and robust surge/overcurrent protection. High-Density Digital I/O
with Opto-Isolation

The DIO-6464L-PE provides 64 opto-coupler isolated inputs (supporting current sink output) and 64 opto-coupler isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type). Common terminals are provided per 16 channels, allowing different external power supplies per group. The board supports driver voltages of 12 – 24 VDC for both input and output sections.

Opto-coupler bus isolation separates the PCI Express bus from I/O interfaces, delivering excellent noise immunity for industrial environments.

Engineered for reliability in factory automation, the DIO-6464L-PE includes advanced protection and signal conditioning features.

  • Digital filter — Prevents wrong recognition of input signals from noise or chattering. Software-configurable per channel.
  • Interrupt capability — 16 input signals can be used as interrupt requests. Enable/disable per bit, select rising or falling edge trigger.
  • Surge voltage protection — Zener diodes (RD47FM or equivalent) connected to output circuits.
  • Overcurrent protection — Protection circuit provided per 8 output channels.
  • Response time — 200µsec max for both input and output.
  • Common power per 16 channels — Supports different external power supplies for each group.
