The PIO‑32/32B(PCI)V provides 32 opto‑isolated inputs (current sink compatible) and 32 opto‑isolated open‑collector outputs (current sink type) on a PCI bus board. It features an on‑board 12VDC power supply (240 mA) for driving opto‑couplers, eliminating the need for an external supply. All 32 inputs can be used as interrupt request signals with per‑bit enable/disable and selectable edge triggering.

  • Digital filter — software‑configurable per input to reject noise and contact bounce.
  • Interrupt on all 32 inputs — edge selectable (rising/falling) per bit; disable/enable in bit units.

The board uses a 96‑pin half‑pitch connector (CN1). Pin assignments: I‑00 to I‑37 (inputs), O‑40 to O‑77 (outputs), OP‑2/3, OP‑4/5, OP‑6/7 (output common positive), IP‑2/3 (input common positive), ON‑6/7 (output common negative), IN‑2/3 (input common negative), and NC.

  • Input common — positive side of external supply; separate common per 16 channels. Internal power also available.
  • Output common — positive and negative sides; separate common per 16 channels.
