USB 2.0 isolated digital I/O unit with 16 opto-coupler inputs and 16 opto-coupler open-collector outputs. On-board power supply (12VDC) drives opto-couplers — no external power needed for I/O. 200 µs response, interrupt on all inputs, digital filter, surge/overcurrent protection, and USB hub function.
The DIO-1616BX-USB provides 16 opto-coupler isolated inputs (compatible with current sink output) and 16 opto-coupler isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type). On-board 12VDC power drives the opto-couplers, eliminating the need for external I/O power. USB (PC) is isolated from I/O interfaces for excellent noise immunity.
On-board power: 12VDC internal power supply drives opto-couplers (240mA available). No external power supply required for I/O operation.
Features a built-in USB hub function, allowing up to 4 units to be connected to a single USB port. The 37-pin D-SUB connector pin assignments are compatible with PIO-16/16B(PCI)H and DIO-1616B-PE for easy migration from PCI/PCI Express systems.
