The GPIB-FL2-USB is a micro converter that converts a PC's USB port to a GPIB communication port compatible with IEEE-488.1/488.2 standards. It supports transfer rates up to 1.5 Mbyte/sec and can be set as either a master (controller) or a slave. The included USB cable (1.8 m) allows connection to any GPIB instrument without additional GPIB cables.

The GPIB-FL2-USB is API-compatible with the GP-IB(USB)FL, allowing existing applications to be used without modification. It is bus-powered, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The included USB cable (1.8 m) enables direct connection to GPIB instruments.
