Digital I/O for PCI Express

The DIO‑96D‑LPE provides 96 bi‑directionally configurable LVTTL‑level digital I/O channels on a Low Profile PCI Express board. It operates equivalently to i8255 mode 0, allowing direction to be set in 8‑bit groups (with some 4‑bit groups) via application software. All 96 input channels can be used as interrupt sources.

Connector & Cabling

The board uses two 68‑pin 0.8mm pitch connectors (CNA and CNB). Pin assignments: 1‑PA0 to 4‑PB7 (96 I/O signal pins). Signals are LVTTL level, positive logic, and internally pulled up. I/O direction is software‑selectable in 8‑bit groups.
