The AO-1604CI3-PCI provides four independent 16-bit analog output channels with opto‑coupler isolation between channels and from the PC bus. Each channel can be independently configured for voltage (±10V or 0–+10V) or current (0–20mA) via on‑board jumpers. The built‑in relay prevents unstable output voltage at power‑up, protecting connected devices.

  • Opto‑coupler isolation — 500Vrms isolation between channels and PC bus. Protects your PC and connected equipment from ground loops and transients.
  • Relay‑controlled output — Prevents undefined analog output at power‑up or system reset. Outputs are enabled only after stable operation.
  • Programmable timer — Internal clock from 500ns to 1,073,741,824,000ns (250ns steps). External clock input for synchronization with external systems.
  • External trigger start/stop — Independent start and stop control. Supports software, external trigger, or session‑count completion.
  • Simultaneous / per‑channel output — Generate voltage on a specified channel or all channels simultaneously (selectable via driver).
