32 opto-isolated inputs and 32 opto-isolated outputs on a single PCI Express board. The DIO-3232B-PE delivers 200µsec response, interrupt capability on all inputs, digital filter, and selectable internal/external power supply per 16 points. Functions and connectors are compatible with PIO-32/32B(PCI)V.

High-Density Digital I/O
with Opto-Isolation

The DIO-3232B-PE provides 32 opto-isolated inputs (compatible with current sink output) and 32 opto-isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type). Common terminals are provided per 16 channels, allowing different external power supplies per group. The board supports driver voltages of 12 – 24 VDC for I/O.

Engineered for reliability in factory automation, the DIO-3232B-PE includes advanced protection and signal conditioning features with flexible power supply selection.

  • Digital filter — Prevents wrong recognition of input signals from noise or chattering. Software-configurable per channel.
  • Interrupt capability — All 32 input signals can be used as interrupt requests. Disable/enable per bit, select rising or falling edge trigger.
  • Surge voltage protection — Zener diodes connected to output circuits.
  • Overcurrent protection — Protection circuit provided per 8 output channels.
  • Internal or external power supply — 12VDC 240mA internal supply for opto-coupler operation; selectable per 16 points via jumpers.
  • Compatible with PIO-32/32B(PCI)V — Functions and connector shape/pin assignments are compatible for easy migration.
