The DIO-24DY-USB provides 24 non-insulated LVTTL-level bidirectional I/O channels with 200 ns response time. Direction can be selected by software in 8-bit blocks (3 groups of 8). Positive logic: Low = 0, High = 1. Bus-powered operation eliminates external power supplies. Screw terminal connectors simplify wiring.

Bus-powered: Operates on USB bus power — no external power supply needed, ideal for portable and space-constrained applications.

Software & driver support

Windows and Linux drivers are included. The API-DIO(WDM) and API-DIO(LNX) provide functions for digital I/O control, with sample programs (C#, Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++, Python, gcc). A diagnostic program is also provided.

Connector & wiring

Uses two 14-pin screw terminal connectors (CN1 and CN2) for I/O signals. Signals are LVTTL (3.3V) level with positive logic. Total cable length should be within 1.5m.

  • CN1 – PA00–PA07 (port A), PB00–PB07 (port B), DGND.
  • CN2 – PC00–PC07 (port C), DGND.
  • Direction – Each 8-bit port can be independently set as input or output via software.
