Four isolated RS-422A/485 serial ports on a single PCI Express board. The COM-4PD-PE features channel-to-channel isolation (500VDC), bus isolation (1000VDC), and surge protection on all signal lines. Supports baud rates up to 921,600 bps with 128-byte FIFO buffers per channel. Use as standard Windows/Linux COM ports.
The COM-4PD-PE provides four RS-422A/485-standard serial ports on a single PCI Express board. Each channel supports baud rates from 30 to 921,600 bps with independent 128-byte FIFO buffers for transmit and receive. The interface supports full or half-duplex asynchronous serial transfer with software-controlled RTS and CTS lines.
Full isolation and surge protection — Channel-to-channel and bus isolation prevents noise interference, while surge protection on all signal lines ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial environments.
Designed for industrial and embedded applications requiring reliable long-distance communication, the COM-4PD-PE supports distances up to 1200 meters with twisted-pair cable.
