High‑Speed Counter

The CNT‑3204MT‑LPE provides four 32‑bit up/down counter channels on a Low Profile PCI Express board. It accepts LVTTL‑level pulse inputs up to 10 MHz and supports 2‑phase (quadrature) or single‑phase counting. The board features bus master transfer for high‑speed data sampling at up to 80 MB/s.

Differential input option — convert to differential interface using the CTP‑4D differential unit and CNT‑68M/50M connection cable (sold separately). Compatible with CNT32‑4MT(LPCI) series.

Built for Precision Counting

  • High speed — 10 MHz max input frequency; minimum distinguishable phase of two‑phase input is 25 nsec.
  • Flexible counting — 2‑phase (quadrature), single‑phase, or single‑phase with gate control.
  • Digital filter — programmable per channel (0.1 µsec to 1.6384 msec) to reject noise.
  • Control input — one per channel for start/stop/preset; software‑selectable.
  • Count match — generate interrupt or output one‑shot pulse when count matches preset value.
  • Low Profile / standard — includes standard bracket for standard‑size slots.

Connector & Cabling

The board uses a 68‑pin 0.8mm pitch connector (CN1). Signals include Phase‑A, Phase‑B, Phase‑Z, control input (DI0‑DI3), control output (DO0‑DO3), sampling signals, test pulse, and +3.3V output. Pull‑up pins (PUP1, PUP2) are provided for input signal pull‑up.
