The CNT24‑4D(PCI)H provides four 24‑bit up/down counter channels on a PCI board. It supports differential line receiver or TTL‑level input selection per channel. Counts 2‑phase (quadrature) or single‑phase signals from rotary encoders, linear scales, and other pulse sources.

• Flexible input — differential (1 MHz, up to 1200m) or TTL (1 MHz) input per channel; software selectable.
• Count match — generate interrupt and/or one‑shot output when count matches preset value.
• Programmable timer — 1 ms to 200 sec for periodic interrupt generation.
• Digital filter — programmable per channel (0.1 µsec to 1056.1 µsec) to reject noise.
• General‑purpose input — one per channel (differential and TTL‑level).
• Universal key PCI — compatible with 3.3V and 5V slots (requires +5V supply).

The board uses a 96‑pin half‑pitch connector (CN1). Signals include differential/TTL phase inputs, general‑purpose inputs, one‑shot outputs, ground, and NC. Termination resistors can be enabled/disabled via switches.

• Differential inputs — line receiver inputs with 100Ω termination (switchable), ±200mV sensitivity, ±7V common‑mode range.
• TTL inputs — standard TTL‑level inputs, 1.5m cable length max.
